Ready for your printer
A useful paper-doll kit starts with a consistent scale. This editor derives the character and its clothing from the same body anchors, so changing the doll height changes every kit piece together. The result is a flat paper activity with fold-over clothing tabs, rather than a standing model or a pattern for fabric garments.
💡A few useful answers
Can I combine clothes printed on different paper sizes?
Yes, provided the doll height is identical and every page is printed at 100% scale. Changing from A4 to another supported format changes the placement of the pieces, not their intended physical dimensions. Measure a test piece before mixing kits.
Is there a stand or a back view?
This kit contains a flat front-facing doll and separate clothing pieces. It does not include a standing support or a second body side. Keep the character on a table, store it in a folder or use a backing of your own after checking the outline.
Can I upload a photograph or draw a new garment?
The editor offers its original character, two hair choices and three matching clothing shapes. It has no photo conversion or freehand garment editor. You can decorate the printed pieces yourself while preserving their outer boundaries and attachment tabs.
Keep every piece at one scale
✏️Choose a doll height from 100 to 150 millimetres. The height measures the complete character from the top of the head to the bottom of the feet. Its clothes use that same setting even when you export them separately. Check the printed height with a printable ruler or an ordinary ruler before cutting; a printer’s fit-to-page option can otherwise change the size despite the dimensions recorded in the file.
The complete kit contains one doll sheet followed by one clothes sheet. The clothing page includes a shirt, trousers and a dress, laid out as separate cut pieces. Select Doll only when replacing a worn character or Clothes only when making another outfit set. Record the height you used so a later replacement comes from the same scale instead of an approximate visual match.
Prepare the clothing tabs before decorating
Solid outer lines indicate the cutting boundaries. Dashed marks identify the fold lines for the tabs, which remain attached to their clothing pieces. The shirt and dress have shoulder tabs; the trousers use waist tabs. Fold these gently around the character after checking placement. Do not remove a tab as though it were leftover paper, because it is the part intended to hold the outfit in place.
Outline style leaves room for pencils and your own patterns. Colored style provides simple decorative fills while keeping the cut outlines visible. Printed colors depend on the paper and printer, so neither setting promises an exact physical shade. Use cutting practice sheets beforehand if following the corners and narrow tabs would be difficult; an adult can handle the finer cuts when needed.
Make a small reusable paper-play kit
📝Short and long hair offer two versions of the same original character. They do not load photographs, convert a person into a doll or reproduce a branded character. The body remains a simple front view with basic clothing. Decorate it on a flat surface, allow wet media to dry if used, and check that additional decoration has not hidden the tab marks you still need.
Try one set on ordinary paper before choosing thicker stock. The pieces are dimensionally related, but paper thickness, cutting accuracy and folds affect how they sit together; no physical fit test is implied by the preview. A comic or storyboard sheet can give the finished character a separate setting or story, keeping drawing and narrative work outside the precise cutting outlines.

An outline kit for coloring
Set the doll height to 140 mm, choose short hair and Outline, and select Doll and clothes on portrait A4. The two-page kit keeps the character and all three garments at the same scale. Color the pieces before cutting around their outer lines.
Choose a height of 120 mm, long hair, Colored and Doll and clothes. Keep portrait A4 for this example. The kit still has two pages, but the character, garments and tabs are proportionally smaller than in the 140 mm version.
