For the pyramid, height means the perpendicular distance from the base to the tip, not the sloping face height.

A few useful answers

Do all faces have the same size?

A cube has six equal squares and a regular tetrahedron four equal triangles. A cuboid uses three pairs of rectangles.

Cut, fold and assemble

Matching letters show which loose edges meet after folding. Turn the marks off for a model you want to decorate yourself.

Compare the flat faces with the assembled solid during a geometry lesson. Count faces, edges and vertices before joining the last seam.
