Try it with a real task

A base of 60 × 80 mm with a depth of 20 mm needs a flat net of 100 × 120 mm. These are fold-line dimensions; leave clearance for the material thickness and test with scrap paper.

A few useful answers

Where do I cut and fold, and is a lid included?

Set the base width, length and depth in millimetres, cut the solid outline and fold the dashed lines; print at 100% scale. A lid is not included.
