Build fraction strips and fraction circles with chosen denominators, equal wholes, optional colors and labels for cutting or comparing.
Preview is scaled to fit. The PDF keeps the exact dimensions.
Cut a set of fraction manipulatives for a lesson on equivalent fractions. Put two quarter strips beside one half, then compare the same relationship with circles.
Enter distinct denominators from 1 to 12, separated by commas. Each strip or circle represents one whole divided into that many equal parts.
Every strip uses the same whole width; every circle uses the same diameter. Two halves therefore match one whole, and three thirds match it too.
Print at 100% to keep the chosen millimetres. The outer border and internal divisions are cutting guides; switch off labels for matching exercises.
