On the 8×8 board, each player starts with 12 pieces on the nearest three rows of dark squares. On 10×10, use 20 pieces across four rows. Movement and capture rules depend on the variant.

A few useful answers

Can I print a larger checkers board?

Increase the square size and the board will split into numbered sheets without shrinking. Trim the marked edges and assemble the sheets in row order. The pieces use the same square size.
